Got questions? You’re in the right place.
Whether you’re planning a ride down Broadway, booking a private tour, or just curious how it all works, we’ve answered the most common Nashville pedicab questions below—so you can focus on enjoying the ride.
What is Local Bike Taxi?
Local Bike Taxi is a Nashville pedicab company offering:
- A to B transportation in Downtown Nashville

- Nashville sightseeing tours
- Private and public Nashville bike tours

- Special event transportation (Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, Ascend Amphitheater, Geodis Park, and many more)

We specialize in fun, efficient, and eco friendly electric pedicab transportation in Music City.
Do the drivers get tired?
Nope! Our bikes are **electric assist pedicabs**, which means the motor helps the driver pedal. It’s up to the driver how much effort they want to use.
This makes our Nashville pedicab tours smooth, comfortable, and ideal for hills in Downtown Nashville.
Where can pedicabs take us in Nashville?
Most rides are under 2 miles and are perfect for navigating:
- Broadway
- The Gulch
- SoBro
- Downtown Nashville hotels
- Nissan Stadium
- Bridgestone Arena
Pedicabs are one of the best ways to avoid traffic jams and long walks during busy weekends and major Nashville events.
We also offer guided Nashville sightseeing tours for groups of 2 to 48 guests. Each bike seats up to 6 passengers, allowing for a more personal tour experience than large bus tours.
How many people fit on a pedicab?
Each pedicab holds:
- Up to 6 adult passengers
- 1 licensed Nashville pedicab driver
Great for small groups, birthday parties, bachelorette groups, and corporate outings.
Can I drive or rent the pedicab?
No. The City of Nashville requires all pedicab operators to hold a Nashville pedicab license.
We like to say we have two hard rules:
- We cannot drink.
- You cannot drive.
If you’re set on pedaling, check our website for Nashville pedicab job openings.
