Nashville Event Transportation

Nashville Event Transportation | Pedicab Shuttles for Venues, Conferences & Groups

Local Bike Taxi provides pedicab shuttle transportation for events across downtown Nashville, moving guests between hotels, parking, and venues including Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, Geodis Park, Ascend Amphitheater, and the Music City Center corridor.

We operate inside active street closures alongside event staff, which means we can reach pickup and drop-off points that shuttles and rideshare can’t.

Events We Handle

Proven at Nissan Stadium

We run event transportation inside the Woodland Street bridge and Korean Veterans bridge  closures druring Nissan Stadium events, coordinating directly with stadium event staff on routing and staging.

During a recent stadium concert, our drivers averaged 20 round trips each across a four-hour window, roughly ten during ingress and ten during egress, on a 0.7-mile loop, moving approximately 800 guests over the course of the event.

How it Works

  1. 1
  2. 2
    Discovery call
A quick conversation to lock in the details and understand your vision.
  3. 3
    We present the plan
You provide the artwork; we handle routing, staging, driver count, timing, and the branding production.
  4. 4
    Finalize contract and numbers
You approve a written scope and pricing before anything is locked in. No surprises on event day.
  5. 5
    We run the event
Drivers, cabs, and branding all show up ready. You get a dedicated on-site point of contact who coordinates with your team and any event staff throughout the day, so you're managing one person, not a fleet.

What We Need From You

Cab graphics: Print-ready files. We handle printing and mounting from there.

Custom apparel and materials: Send us your logo and we’ll design driver shirts and event handouts for you. Custom apparel needs a minimum 3-week lead time to produce.

Short on time? If your team already has branded shirts, our drivers can wear yours instead, no production lead time needed.

Add Your Brand to the Ride

Every pedicab can be wrapped, branded, or themed for your event, turning guest transportation into a rolling brand impression across downtown Nashville.

Capacity & Logistics

Fleet. 8 pedicabs, each seating up to 6 guests. (Second largest in the city, and the only fleet owned by a Nashville native.)

Throughput. On short downtown loops of a mile or less, each cab completes a round trip in 7 to 15 minutes depending on route and traffic. At peak egress, our fleet moves approximately 340 guests per hour.

Lead time. For most events and activations, we can field our full 8-cab fleet in three days or less. The constraint is driver scheduling, not equipment,  so the earlier we know, the more certain the deployment. Custom-branded apparel and materials have their own production timelines; see What we need from you above.

Surge capacity. For larger events, we can bring on additional permitted pedicabs beyond our own fleet. Coordinating vehicles from other operators takes a week or more of advance notice, so large-scale deployments need to be booked further out.

Service area. Downtown Nashville, including Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, Ascend Amphitheater, Geodis Park, the Music City Center corridor, SoBro, the Gulch, and Lower Broadway. (Outside of Nashville, Checkout our national festival transportation site.)

Weather. We ride rain, shine, or scorching. If we said we would be there, we will be there.

Why Pedicabs for Events

  • Minimal parking footprint
No lot space, no staging yard, no bus turnaround. Most important, no need to pull a road closure permit.
  • Access where vehicles can't go.
We operate inside pedestrian zones and street closures, so guests get dropped at the door rather than three blocks out.
  • Groups stay together
Six seats per cab keeps a party in one vehicle.
  • It's memorable
Guests remember the ride. That's rarely true of a shuttle bus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to book? Three days or less for our 8-cab fleet. Plan on a week or more if your event needs additional pedicabs beyond our fleet.

How many guests can you move?
Enough that the line never builds. Six guests per cab, roughly 400 guests per hour at peak on a short downtown loop with our in-house fleet, and several thousand per hour when we bring partner operators in for large-scale events. The only real variable is distance: short routes move more people, longer routes move fewer. Tell us the route and we’ll tell you the number.

What’s the minimum booking? 1 cab 1 hour

Can you operate inside a street closure? Yes. We regularly work inside active closures in coordination with event staff and Metro. That said, sometimes we are not allowed inside a closure; all access is granted by NDOT and MNPD.

How does billing work?

  • Branded materials: 100% due upfront, non-refundable, before production begins.
  • Transportation: 50% deposit to reserve the date; remaining balance due [3–7] days before the event.
  • Overage/adjustments: any additional hours or cabs added on event day invoiced within 2 weeks of the event.

What happens if it rains? We ride. Rain or shine we show up.

Do drivers wear branded apparel? Yes, our drivers wear our company brand, but can also wear your brand for an activation.

Do you also do private tours? Yes, Pedicab tours are a popular add-on for conference groups and wedding weekends.
